During Morning Worship at First Baptist Church South, children are invited to Kingdom Kids for an age-appropriate time of Bible teaching, songs, and activities.

What to expect

  • Worship together, then learn together.Children start in the sanctuary with their families and are dismissed to Kingdom Kids before the message.
  • Bible-centered teaching.Each week points children to Jesus through Scripture, stories, and memorization.
  • Safe and loving.Screened volunteers and a secure check-in keep every child known and cared for.
  • Fun that forms faith.Games, crafts, and activities help the truth stick all week long.

Common questions

When does Kingdom Kids meet?
Every Sunday at 10:30 AM, during Morning Worship. Children begin in the sanctuary and are dismissed to Kingdom Kids before the message.
What ages can attend?
Kingdom Kids is for elementary-age children. Younger children are welcome with a parent, and Sunday School classes for every age meet at 9:15 AM.
Where do I check in?
Check-in is in the church lobby with Mrs. Judith Lindsey. She'll get your child registered and show you where Kingdom Kids meets.
Who leads Kingdom Kids?
Trained, caring volunteers from our church family teach and care for your children. Every leader is screened and background-checked.
What will my child learn?
Bible stories, Scripture memory, worship, and activities that connect children to Christ and form faith that lasts.
Is my child safe?
Yes. We use a secure check-in and check-out, and our team is committed to a safe, welcoming environment for every child.
