Membership is a covenant, not a roster

You are welcomed into a family, not added to a roster.

Membership begins with belonging. We share life, bear one another's burdens, and covenant to be present for each other in worship, in sorrow, and in celebration.

A shared faith in Jesus Christ as Lord.

We ground membership in the historic faith: Scripture as God's word, salvation by grace through faith in Christ, and baptism as a public declaration of new life.

Discipleship is formation, not information.

Members commit to becoming like Jesus — through prayer, the Word, obedience, repentance, and the patient work of the Holy Spirit in character and holiness.

Every member builds the household of faith.

Your gifts are not extras. Members give, serve, teach, welcome, and steward the life of the congregation so the whole body is strengthened.

We are equipped here to be sent there.

Membership ends where mission begins: sent into homes, workplaces, schools, and neighborhoods in Pell City as witnesses of the kingdom.
